The AI researcher's admission that he spent "~3 hours" on a basic integration between Supabase and Vercel highlights how the problem affects even highly technical professionals. The Stanford PhD and creator of the influential CS231n course described the experience as "embarrassing" — a telling assessment from someone who has built some of the world's most complex AI systems.
